Hi, I’m Lacey!

I decided to become a therapist in college. I competed for my university’s cross-country and track & field teams and saw firsthand how harmful disordered eating could be — and how little understanding existed about eating disorders. I felt a strong pull to help others and create change.

After a decade working as a therapist, supervisor, and clinical training specialist in eating disorder treatment centers, I founded LV Mental Health Counseling. I see clients for individual therapy, offer trainings for organizations, speak at conferences, and provide supervision for clinicians.

I’m active in the room and will help you notice patterns, make connections, and explore what may be keeping you stuck—while also offering practical support and tools when needed. I like to be direct, but will always lead with compassion and care.

Outside of the office, I recharge by reading, hiking with my boxer-mix rescue dog Iggy, and being creative (some of my favorites include watercoloring and crochet).

I’m so grateful for this work! ♡

M.A. in Mental Health Counseling & Behavioral Medicine from Boston University’s School of Medicine (2015)

  • My work is grounded in principles from Relational Cultural Therapy, mindful self-compassion, and exposure therapy. I use a trauma-informed and emotion-focused approach. I believe that when we put words to our emotions, we create space to better understand our inner world—and that often transforms how we relate to the world around us.

I am trained in the following evidence-based treatments:

    • Acceptance & Commitment Therapy

    • Unified Treatment for Eating Disorders

    • EMDR
