Therapy for Anxiety

Change is unavoidable — but that doesn't always make it easier. Some transitions are chosen and exciting. Others arrive unexpectedly, leaving you feeling disoriented, grieving something you can't quite name, or unsure of who you are on the other side of it.

Whether you're navigating a relationship ending, a career pivot, a move, a shift in identity, or a persistent sense of being stuck, therapy offers a space to make sense of what's happening and reconnect with what you actually want.

We address:

  • Identity shifts and questions about who you are or who you want to become

  • Breakups, divorce, and the grief that comes with relationship endings

  • Career changes, job loss, or uncertainty about your career path

  • Family dynamics and conflict

  • Graduating college or graduate school and entering a new chapter

  • Athletic retirement and life after sport

  • Periods of feeling emotionally stuck, disconnected, or like you're going through the motions

Therapy provides a supportive relationship to make sense of these changes, explore patterns in how you relate to yourself and others, and clarify what you want moving forward. Together, we focus on building insight, emotional resilience, and more fulfilling, authentic connections so you can move through transitions with greater clarity and confidence.

We provide therapy for life transitions and relationships in Boston (in person) and throughout MA & CT (virtually).

Our Approach

As a relational practice, we pull strongly from Relational Cultural Therapy (RCT). RCT is a therapeutic approach grounded in the idea that growth and healing happen through healthy, supportive relationships rather than in isolation. It focuses on understanding how disconnection, shame, and relational patterns impact well-being, while also emphasizing the importance of authenticity, mutuality, and connection in creating change.
