Eating Disorder, Athlete, and Postpartum Therapist

*Now accepting clients!*

I am Amanda (she/her) a mental health counselor and certified mental performance consultant (CMPC) with experience in both counseling and performance/sport psychology. In addition to supporting individuals’ mental well-being, I have been working as a personal trainer since 2017, helping clients build strength while learning to relate more positively to their bodies.

I believe that the foundation of mental well-being is learning to relate better to your internal world and I help clients do this through mindful awareness training, compassion, acceptance, and building distress tolerance. Together we will figure out what a fulfilling life looks like for you and develop the skills you need to build it.

Therapy is also a great place to practice setting boundaries, working through conflict, and being vulnerable. I welcome your feedback and opinions throughout our work together and will do everything I can to ensure you never feel judged for sharing your authentic self with me.

In my free time, I love running, traveling to see friends and new places, and trying new coffee shops. Every year I go on a meditation retreat and head to Texas to spend time with my niece and nephew.
